Welcome to the University of Pittsburgh's Electronic Software Distribution service. This
service allows students, faculty, and staff to install software that is made available to them
at no charge under the University's enterprise and site license agreements. Information on
other software available through CSSD Software Licensing Services is available
in the
Software
section of this site.
Faculty Computing Program
participants can also access the full suite of software titles available for their use.
Students, faculty, and staff assigned Primary University Computer Accounts may access the
system. Access is not granted to Sponsored accountholders. Please visit the
Computer Accounts section of this Web site
for additional information on Primary and Sponsored University Computer accounts.
All Users must use the Microsoft Internet
Explorer Web browser, version 4.0 or higher, or
Netscape, version 4.7 or higher in order to
access this service. Your browser must be configured to accept "cookies" and must have
Javascript enabled.
Faculty Computing Program participants must download and install the latest version of
KeyAccess in order to use the software available through
this program. The Sun Java 2
plugin is also required. This plugin is installed with Netscape 6.0 and higher and is
available through this service.
